About Argy's Collectibles

the store Argy's was founded and opened May 1, 1982. The original location was at 767 St. Mary's Rd. in good old St. Vital, Manitoba. In October 1989, Argy's took the plunge and moved further south into newer area and its current location of 1604 St. Mary's Rd.

Argy's was founded, primarily, as a record store, but then adding posters, cassettes, CD's, trading cards, comics, DVD's and Rock merchandise.

We've seen many fads come and go and have adapted to the times and changes. When the store was first opened it was to bring good music to the masses in a neighbourhood or area that had never had this sort of store before.

Argy's is a one of a kind store; offering a little bit of everything to the card collector or music afficionado.

Rock T-Shirts and other music related merchandise being the newest addition to the stable, which is quickly taking off.

Argy and his daughter Argy's has been live on the internet since about 1994, being the first store in Winnipeg to actively trade and sell on various newsgroups before the auction sites took over.

Being from Winnipeg, Argy's has always held a special place for fans of local musical legends, The Guess Who. We specialize in everything Guess Who that is currently available and are always looking for rare items from that band and its members, past and present. Whooligans also get special S & H rates on their orders.

We offer great service, super fast shipping and a secure online order form. Argy's is also a member of various fan groups online other than The Guess Who. Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Steve Earle, John Hiatt, The Rolling Stones, various Canadian bands and others too numerous to mention.
